Who gets a travel agent discount, and why? This is a question that has plagued many travelers who wish they could get the reduced prices that would make world travel so much easier.

A travel agent discount is given to the employees of a travel agency as a bonus; it is sort of a perk for working to arrange travel plans for everyone else all year! If you are a travel agent or work at a travel agency office, you definitely need to ask about getting a travel agent discount. A travel agent discount will not come your way, so it is wise to look at other options.

Cut back on the meals eaten at restaurants and the unnecessary spending that can stack up with such ease. Put that suddenly “found” money into a savings account specifically intended to be used for a travel package. You can then find some sort of discounted travel plan at one of the travel agencies.

If you have concerns about a website, that is your first red flag that perhaps that great discount is not a reality. If you try to use the company email and find that nobody responds, that is your signal to run from that site as fast as possible!
